Hi, again! Normally, I just do one main post for all the lists for a specific theme. But this time, I especially wanted to highlight the Elfdalian version.
Since this language is especially in need of preservation with approximately 3,000 speakers, I put extra care into ensuring that the vocabulary was relevant to the local culture. In addition, I received permission from Karl Tövåsens Fäbod to use some pictures of cheese made locally in Rättvik, Dalarna County, where Älvdalen is also located. I thank them very much for the use of their pictures of locally made cheeses and more. If you are ever in the area, you can even visit them during certain months of the year.
