Boruca is the native language of the Boruca people, which live in Costa Rica.
Boruca is also known as Bronka, Bronca or Brúnkajk.
Boruca belongs to the Chibchan language family.

According to a census cited by UNESCO, there are approximately 70 speakers of the language.
- Other sources, such as those mentioned on Wikipedia, list the number of fluent native speakers as low as three.
Boruca is taught as a second language at the local primary school.
