Nganasan is a language spoken by the Nganasan people, who live on Taymyr Peninsula in Russia.

  • According to UNESCO, there are 505 speakers of Nganasan.

Nganasan belongs to the Samoyedic branch of the Uralic language family.

  • Other Samoyedic language include Enets, Nenets, the Selkup languages, Kamassian and Mator.
