Another Manx language resource

When it comes to minority languages, it can be quite hard to find good resources for learning a language, especially those containing audio. Therefore I would like to highlight this very useful website for learning Manx: http://jimmorrison101.wixsite.com/mylanguagenotebook/manx

This resource was brought to my attention by the person who created the software which enables you to download lessons for other languages or to make your own. So even if you are more interested in other languages, it will be worth your while to check it out.

Now you do have to download a program to be able to use the software and download lessons, so you will need to use something other than a tablet or smartphone. But it’s free and has audio, therefore you really don’t have anything to lose by try it.

I’ve tried the first few Manx lessons so far and I found them very helpful in learning the grammar of the language. I was previously just using an app on my smartphone to learn it, but the structure of the app makes it primarily something to learn vocabulary and phrases with. After finishing all the lessons on the app, I needed something more formal to learn Manx grammar. And the link posted above will take you to 25 thorough lessons to help anyone looking to get a decent grasp of the language.
