Beth ar y ddaear – what on earth
Bod yn feddw gaib, bod yn feddw gorn – to be blind drunk
Bwrw hen wragedd a ffyn – raining cats and dogs
Cael y gorau ar rywun – to have the upper hand on someone
Colli ei ben – to go wild
Chwerthin ei hochr hi – to split your sides laughing
Gadael y gath o’r cwd – to let the cat out of the bag
Gwaelod y gasgen – the bottom of the barrel
Man gwyn man draw – the grass is greener on the other side
Ych a fi! – Ugh!
