Now that I have finished the book, I would to share how it has helped me in learning Irish. I really enjoyed learning from this book and when used along with other books (this is mainly a grammar focused book after all), it really helps break down the difficult to learn parts of the language.
My favorite part was the illustrations. Some things simply cannot be completely translated. Illustrations often help paint a more complete picture in these cases.
I also appreciated the review lessons throughout the book. I have what I often feel is the worst short term memory, so these exercises were really helpful for me to keep what I learned in my head so that I became gradually less dependent on my Irish dictionary on my phone.
Fortunately for me, there’s more where this came from :). There are two more books in this series. I am excited to begin the next one.
